Overview
A 2 Days gorilla trekking tour to Volcanoes national park is a good option for visitors with less time while on a visit to Rwanda. This two-day gorilla tour is also a cheaper safari package even when it offers an excellent wildlife experience
Brief Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Ruhengeri.
Day 02: Gorilla tracking in PNV and transfer to Kigali, Departure and End of tour!
Detailed Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ruhengeri.
Upon arrival at Kanombe airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed by a Trek East Africa representative who will transfer you to a Kigali hotel for refreshments before you head to Ruhengeri. The drive to Ruhengeri takes between 2-3 hours’ drive through scenic areas enroute.
Overnight stay at Gorillas View Hotel or equivalent

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Kigali for a late departure.
In the morning by 8:30am, with your packed lunch, you will meet at the park headquarters for briefing on the dos and don’ts while tracking the mountain gorillas. You will also be assigned the gorilla group that befits you according to your physical fitness.
Encountering the mountain gorillas ranges between anytime less than an hour to three-quarters of the day.
After the gorilla trek, you will transfer back to Kigali and on to Kanombe airport for your onward flight.
