3 Days Chimpanzee Safari
Kibale Forest is located in western Uganda, and covers an area of over 760 sq kms. This park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Uganda. It lies 35 kms south of Fort Portal and adjoins with Queen Elizabeth National Park in the South.
Kibale is the perfect place to experience the true diversity of wildlife and flora found in a tropical rainforest. This forest park has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species that include; chimpanzees, Olive Baboon, Black and white Colobus, blue monkey, the grey cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkey, pottos and bush babies. Other attractions in the park include 229 species of trees and shrubs and other mammals such as the elephant and leopard. The elephant population in this park is one of the largest though rarely sighted.

Detailed Trip Itinerary: TEA U – K3:
3 days (2 nights) Kibale National Park Trek.
Day 01 Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Kampala at 8:00 am and head to Fort portal where you will stop over for lunch prior to visiting Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This afternoon guided walk around the Swamp will provide you with an opportunity to see different flora and fauna.
Later check in at Kyaninga Lodge or Ndali Lodge for over night stay (LD).
Day 02 Kibale National Park
After early breakfast report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre for briefing. Later with your guide (s) set out to track the chimpanzees
Kibale Forest National Park home to our closest living relatives – the endangered Chimpanzee, and other 13 different primates including the threatened Red Colobus monkey and L’Hoest’s monkey.
Lunch break then take on a on a tour of the crater region around Ndali. Visit the “natural bridge” and “top of the world”. Stop over at areas of interest enroute prior to returning to your lodge. Dinner and over night stay at Ndali Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge.
Day 03 Kibale National Park – Kampala
After break fast, visit Karambi Royal Tombs prior to heading back to Kampala with lunch enroute.
